Behind The Day-of: Meet Layla
Hi, I’m Layla — founder of The Day-of, LLC.
My love for this work started behind the scenes at private venues and country clubs, where I learned how events are built from the ground up — the vendor relationships, the floor plans, the timelines, the hundred small decisions that determine whether a wedding day runs smoothly or doesn’t.
That experience eventually led me to the coordinator’s side, where I could bring that same operational foundation directly to couples. Having worked as both a venue-side events director and an independent coordinator, I understand what venues expect, how vendors operate, and where things fall apart when no one is watching the details.
My professional background is in project and program management, where success depended on coordinating people, timelines, vendors, logistics, and competing priorities.
